7-day long Grand Tour in Greece

In a conventional trip to/or through Europe, especially if it is the first time they are travelling around the continent; most people choose to visit the traditional great capital cities of Western Europe: Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona –not a capital, but a tourism capital- and Rome are some examples of those very popular destinations. It’s just a little later, once one already knows these “basics”, that he or she may decide to explore other regions of the continent.
Greece is one of those places. Located in southern Europe, this country is surrounded by Albania, the Republic of Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey. Currently facing a severe crisis, and with the rest of the European Union seeking a way to rescue it, Greece maintains its joy and readily welcomes the tourists who visit it year after year.
With coasts on the Mediterranean Sea, the Aegean Sea and the Ionian Sea, Greece has lots of what is known as the “beach and sun” tourism. In the summer, especially during the high season of July and August, tourists from all around the world, although most of them coming from the rest of Europe, visit Greece and let themselves be surprised by its magic. Many others also make the trip to Greece to learn and soak up its history, enjoy the nightlife or explore the idyllic islands and the mountainous mainland.
The ancient Greek civilization was a culture with great influence in the arts, languages, philosophy, politics and sports of the current western society as we know it. Some of these influences can be found for example in the theater genres of comedy and tragedy/drama, in the Platonic ideals, in the Socratic methodology, in the political democracies and republics, in the Western alphabets and in the Olympic Games.
This time we offer you the possibility to take part on a 7-day long Grand Tour in Greece. Unlike many other packages we offer, this is a comprehensive and organized tour from the beginning to the end, which allows you to experience the best of this country. If you have always dreamed of a trip to Greece, and if you can spare a week of vacations this summer, our 7-day long Grand Tour in Greece may be what you are looking for.
