No More ‘Big Boss 4′ and ‘Rakhi ka Insaaf’ at 9pm on Indian Television.The Information & Broadcasting Ministry of India has asked TV Channels to air reality show ‘Big Boss 4′ and ‘Rakhi ka Insaaf’ only between 11 PM and 5 AM as they are not suitable for viewing by children.
‘Big Boss’ is being aired on Colors, ‘Rakhi ka Insaaf’ is aired on Imagine.
These two reality shows were aired on prime time at 9pm. The Channels have also been asked to carry a disclaimer that the shows are not suitable for viewing by children.
Now, Bigg Boss will be shown at 11pm. News channels also have been instructed not to carry any of the scenes/shots from the shows.
Both the shows are not for universal viewing and can be aired only in the scheduled time slot, I&B Ministry officials said.The shows cannot be repeated at any other time slot or shown on news programmes, they said.
Faced with numerous complaints from viewers and women outfits about indecent content on these serial the Government has taken this decision.
