There will be 47 Gold medals at stake for Athletics and 44 for shooting, making it two of the biggest contributors to the count. For the first time in the Asian Games, cricket will be introduced, and there will be two gold medals at stake. There will also be four other sports making their debut; dragon boat, weiqi, dancesport, and roller sport.
