Day Tour from Paris to Bruges

"K2T Wisata"

We all know that Paris is the city of love, and one of the main destinations when one thinks of romantic holidays. Nevertheless, it is also a huge cosmopolitan city with a hectic lifestyle, which may exhaust some of these romantic couples in search of a smaller and cozier paradise. It is for this kind of people for whom we offer, in this occasion, the chance to book a day tour from Paris to Bruges.
Bruges is located less than 270 kilometers from Paris. It is a city in Belgium, close to the border with France and also not far from the beach in the Belgian part of the North Sea. Bruges –or Brugge, as it is called in Flemish- is a small and romantic, very well-preserved medieval town. Bruges is full of canals, which account for the city also being known as the “little Venice of the north”. In the summer, we will also give you a chance to cruise down all these canals and enjoy picture-perfect views of the city.
The Day Tour from Paris to Bruges starts in the center of Paris. If your hotel in Paris is located in this area, you will be offered a hotel pick-up and drop-off service for an additional fee. If not, you will have to meet us at one of the pick-up points, the one that is better located for you.
Departure time is estimated early morning, at 7.15 am, from the center of Paris. You will board a motor coach vehicle and ride together with up to 50 people from Paris to Bruges. The bus drive will take you through the beautiful views of the north of France, all the way across the Belgian border and into the exquisite town of Bruges. The city center keeps its intact medieval atmosphere, for which it has been granted recognition as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Some say Bruges looks like a living canvas painted by some Flemish old master.
An English speaking professional guide will also ride the bus with you. Upon arrival in the city of Bruges, and once you have left the magic of Paris behind, you will be astonished by the different but still very charming magic of Bruges. The Tour from Paris to Bruges then continues with a fully narrated, guided walking tour though the medieval heart of Bruges, in which you can soak up the atmosphere.

While walking around the city center, you will see the main square or Grand Place, the quaint houses and their elaborately decorated facades, the Place du Bourg, the outdoor market the Halles –which also has an amazing belfry-, the Saint-Sang Basilica, the Beguine Convent and the Town Hall built in magnificent Gothic style.
If you travel to Paris in the summer and decide to take the Day Tour from Paris to Bruges in the months from April to October, you will also have a chance to take a short canal cruise in Bruges, by boat, in which you can see the whole city from the water, while enjoying specialized and funny commentaries by a local tour guide –available in English. This canal boat tour in Bruges is also included in the price.
When you are done with the canal tour, or in the months in which this tour is not offered –due to potential freezing and bad conditions of the water in the canals for sailing-, you will be given free time to enjoy what you like best in the city of Bruges. During that time you can, for example, visit the museums to learn more about Flemish art and history. You can also go through the shops and buy some handmade lace, which used to be the main industry back in the golden era of this region. Do not forget to try Belgian chocolates, we advise you to try Leonidas as a great combination of quality, taste and price.
Another option for your time off, especially if the queue is not too bad, is to climb the Belfry in front of the Grand Place, which is part of the Halles. It is many steps and hard work, and you might have to wait in line a bit, but the views are worth all the effort! And of course do not forget to get something to eat. Mussels with fries, croquettes and waffles are the typical Flemish and Belgian specials. You can also try Belgian beers, with their great variety of names and flavors but, be careful! Many of these beers are stronger than the regular ones. Of course during the time off, all expenses are on you.
In the afternoon, we will agree on a meeting point from where we will board the air-conditioned coach bus and return from Bruges to Paris. The total trip time is approximately 14 hours and we will drop you off in central Paris or in your hotel, if you hired this additional service, around 9.15pm.
This Day Tour from Paris to Bruges is not offered every day but only on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. At any of these times you can book your day tour for 146 euros. If you wish to include pick-up and drop-off services to and from your hotel in Paris, the total price for the Day Tour will be 171 euros. Babies and young children up to three years of age can travel for free with accompanying adults. Children and teenagers 4 to 17 years of age page a reduced fee of 73 euros, which goes up to 120 euros if you wish to include hotel pick-up and drop-off services.
We look forward to seeing you soon in Paris! Remember: if you would like to get out of the big city but still keep the romantic atmosphere for your trip, our Day Tour from Paris to Bruges might be what you are looking for! Enjoy Paris!
