Primitive hotel is small hut in center of Kolarbyn forest in Sweden (just a couple of hours away from Stockholm). It is a natural refuge for silence, wilderness and adventure in a beautiful forest setting. Known as “Sweden’s most primitive hotel”, Kolarbyn consists of twelve small grass-covered huts located in a glade by the beautiful lake Skarsjon. During your visit you will get the chance to take part of traditional Scandinavian culture and experience.

There is no electricity but live candles and a crackling fire place that will guide you asleep. The food served is often biologically produced by local farmers and the eco-friendly forest huts belongs to the local community. The area offers good opportunities for a wide range of free outdoor activities with excellent fishing opportunities and a variety of walking trails to explore.
