According to ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg, the Big Ten’s second-leading rusher will be out with a sprained knee that he suffered last week in the win against Purdue.
The No. 7 Badgers will be forced to use sophomore Montee Ball and freshman James White to fill in for Clay.
Clay has rushed for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns for Wisconsin, who is looking to keep up with Michigan State, Ohio State, and Iowa in the Big Ten championship race.

Colorado looking at Mark Richt for coaching job

"K2T Wisata"
Colorado officials have reportedly added Georgia’s Mark Richt as a possible replacement for Dan Hawkins as head football coach.

A report in The Denver Post says Colorado could be interested in talking with Georgia coach Mark Richt about their coaching opening. (AP Photo/John Bazemore)
This according to the Denver Post, which reported that a source close to the search said the school wants to talk with the Bulldogs’ coach about making the jump from the SEC to the Big 12.
Former Oregon coach Mike Bellotti told the paper he is interested in getting back into coach and has had preliminary discussions with the university about the position.
“We had some initial talks, nothing more than that,” Bellotti said Friday. Bellotti has been an analyst for ESPN since leaving the Ducks’ program.
Richt has been under fire at Georgia for the past several years and tough 5-5 season this season could have the 50-year old coach ready to leave Athens. According to the report, the source said Richt maybe tired of the pressure’s of the SEC and could seek a change.
The report mentions one snag in talking with Richt is the fact that he makes $2.8 million in total compensation and the school isn’t willing to pay more than $2 million.
Richt has been the coach at Georgia since 2001 where he has put together a 95-32 record including a 7-2 mark in bowl games.
LSU’s Les Miles and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Jon Gruden has also been mentioned as candidates.

Lost in the jubilation was the fact that the junior quarterback ruptured his Achilles tendon on the play. Northwestern (7-3, 3-3) must now rely on backup Evans Watkins for the remainder of the season and the postseason.
Persa was 31-for-42 for 302 yards and two touchdowns and he rushed for another in the victory.
The Wildcats play next week at Wrigley Field against Illinois and then travel to Wisconsin on Nov. 27.

Revelation 3:14-22

"K2T Wisata"
14. And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write
Laodicea was wealthy. It was wealthy in wool, medicine, and it was a place of luxury for the rich. There were hot springs there.
The Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says this -
Christ brings Himself out as the opposite of the church. He is the one who affirms all things. He is the perfect example. He possibly calls himself this way so that the people of Laodicea can see the example or the model of what He wants them to be.
15. I know your deeds that you are neither cold nor hot; –
I know that you people are not genuine. There is no reference to their spiritual condition. He is saying I wish you were off the fence. I wish you would make a commitment.
I would that you were cold or hot
This shows that Christ is not referring to their spiritual condition. He would not want someone to be completely turned off to Him. He is saying that I wish you were genuine. Christ is saying that I want you all to not be phony, or hypocritical. He’s saying that He does not want them to be flabby and half-hearted.
16. So because you are lukewarm
- the way described above, hypocritical and half-hearted.
I will spit you out of My mouth
because these people thought they were self-sufficient, wanting nothing, not needing the things that Christ had to offer He says he will vomit them. He is not angry, just throroughly disgusted.
17. Because you say ‘I am rich, and have become wealthy and have need of nothing‘ –
This was their general attitude.
And you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked
this was how Christ saw them. He saw them just the opposite of what they thought they were. This most probably represents the spiritual condition of the church. That is primarily what Christ looks at. Possibly the reason that Christ had nothing good to say about this church was because of how much He hated the condition that they were in.
18. I advise that you buy from Me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich, and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eyesalve to anoint your eyes that you may see. –
Christ says that they should seek these things from Him and not from the world. He says I counsel you on this matter. I give you my advice. Maybe we should take it also.
Certainly. Notice how gently Christ treats them. Of course all of this is figurative, Christ does not have a market for them to come to. Seek first the Kingdom and all these things shall be added unto you. Christ wanted these people to realize that He was what they should be seeking.
19. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; –
Christ reveals a way that He works. He lets those whom he loves prove their faith. He disciplines them, the faithful that they will be more able to do good works. But He does not allow us to be tried above what we can handle. When our faith is tried and we overcome we become strengthened. This is what Christ wants, strong Christians.
be zealous therefore
be earnest, try hard, give it all you got.
and repent. –
Christ gives them a chance to restore themselves to the relationship that He desires for them to have with Him.
20. Behold I stand at the door and knock; –
Christ is bidding to us to accept Him. He is doing all He can for us to want Him. He stands knocking.
if anyone hears My voice and opens
if anyone responds, if anyone desires to have a new relationship with Him. If anyone wants to change His ways. Or if anyone wants to make a renewal.
I will come in to him, and I will dine with him, and he with Me
Christ says I will have a relationship with him, the kind that I want anddesire. He has such a good relationship that they dine together. The relationship is that close. This is figurative. Christ is saying it will be a close relationship.
21. He who overcomes
OVERCOME!!!!!!!!! This is the message of these chapters.
I will grant to him to sit down with me on My throne
Imagine how exciting that is.
As I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne
Christ only makes promises He can come through on. He says He did it. We can do it. Follow Him!
22. He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches
Listen up!
Christ in Glory + the Church in problems = OVERCOMERS!!!

Saudi Arabia Investing in Nanotech

"K2T Wisata"

The development of nanotech membranes for use in desalination is one of the new ideas Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah is considering to modernize the Kingdsom’s 80-year-old oil-powered desalination technology.
Two things need to be accomplished. As peak oil continues to deplete oil production now used to generate the electricity for desalination, the nation, now entirely dependent on seawater, must transition to the use of concentrated solar power to replace oil-powered desalination, or risk real water deprivation.
Nanotech membranes are to provide the second big change from the oil-powered desalination of the 20th century to the renewably powered desalination in the 21st.

Middle East Water Apocalypse

"K2T Wisata"
dry-tree-water-shortageBy calling the Middle East water problem an apocalypse, AFED Secretary General attempts to draw attention to the real and immediate danger shortages represent.
While bureaucrats push paper in their plush offices, the citizens they represent face what one senior researcher calls a water apocalypse. Yemen’s aquifers could dry up as early as 2012, thereby exacerbating the security problems there, and the United Arab Emirates would already be a wasteland if it weren’t for the many desalination plants that keep it afloat.
And yet government allows for investors to pad their pockets with profligate building schemes that will usurp even more water resources, essentially robbing the poorer population of their share. At last week’s Arab Forum for Environment and Development (AFED) in Beirut, 500 delegates from 52 countries sounded a collective call to establish better regulation, better efficiency, and to embrace technology that can deliver more freshwater resources. … [visit site to read more]

The Green Mosque Puts Faith

"K2T Wisata"
green-mosqueIs this the world’s greenest mosque?
That nature and religion make good green fellows has recently been the source of much media emphasis. Since appealing to the public’s rational mind (the planet is burning up, shouldn’t we adjust our behavior accordingly?) has been wildly ineffective, then perhaps a more God-fearing approach is more appropriate (use less water because the Bible/Torah/Quran told you so).
Such an emphasis has produced creative results, including the Green Mosque, which was awarded Best Freestanding Religious Structure in the Faith in Place competition. By combining passive design and sourcing local materials, while also prioritizing community-building, Onat Oktem, Ziya Imren, Zeynep Oktem, and Uri Tzarnotzky have designed a mosque so green, it must have been ordained from above. … [visit site to read more]

What Is The Difference Between Cocoa?

"K2T Wisata"
This time of year many of us will be spending extra time in the kitchen baking for the holidays.
I don’t know about you, but when I spend my time and money on making special baked goods, I want to get the best results possible. And part of getting the best results is using the correct ingredients for the job.
So, today I want to talk about cocoa and using the right one for the right recipe.
Have you ever wondered what the difference between regular cocoa and dutch processed cocoa is? Or if you could substitute one for the other?
The answer is yes, there is a difference, and no you can not use one in place of the other.
Baking cocoa and dutch processed cocoa are processed differently, but for the purpose of baking the main difference is the pH.
Yes, here I go with the science of baking again, but stay with me because in this case it is really important. The science behind cocoa really does make a difference.
Dutch processed cocoa has a pH of around 7. Regular cocoa has a pH of 5-5.9. That is a big difference when it comes to baking.
The difference in the pH is the reason why you usually find dutch processed cocoa in recipes that are less acidic and that usually contain baking powder.
If you try to substitute one cocoa for the other it will give you different results. It will change the color, the texture, and the cooking time of the recipe.
If you want the best results in your recipes that call for cocoa follow the directions and use the best one for the job.
What are your thoughts on dutch processed cocoa vs regular cocoa? Do you avoid recipes that call for dutch processed cocoa?

The best ice skating in the city

"K2T Wisata"
By Nicole Puhl in New York
As the winter chill finds its way into New York there are few outdoor activities worth braving the frosty elements, and ice-skating is one of them. NYC is home to multiple skating rinks for appropriately ringing in the holiday season with an icy spin (or fall!) around the rink and a hot chocolate or two.
The holidays are arguably when New York is at its finest, and there are many options to enjoy the glittering lights of the city and simultaneously strut your skating skills. Be mindful that many rinks may be closed certain nights for special events and parties, so be sure to check their websites before venturing out.
Here are four places where you can easily get your skate on:
Rockefeller Center
5th Ave. between 49th and 50th Streets
Hours: Daily, hours vary
Open: October 9, 2010 – Early April 2011
Admission: $14 (Weekend) or $10 (Weekday)
Skate Rental: $8
Web site
Given the endless movie and TV scenes set in this famous ice rink, it’s no surprise that it is the ice skating destination for holiday visitors and New Yorkers alike. Though it’s the smallest rink in the city, its popularity means that skaters might wait over an hour to take their spin around the ice with up to 150 others at a time.
The musical playlist here consists mainly of Christmas tunes, appropriately paired with the Rockefeller Christmas tree that towers over the rink before the holidays. It is hard to build up much skating speed though, given the small rink and crowds, but be prepared to suddenly stop for an on-ice marriage proposal! Once the skating wears you out, there are a couple somewhat overpriced eating options on site: Rock Center Cafe, The Sea Grill and Cucina & Co.
The Pond at Bryant Park
5th Ave. between 40th and 42nd Streets
Hours: Sun. – Thurs: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.; Friday & Saturday: 8 a.m. – Midnight
Open: October 29, 2010 – February 27, 2011
Admission: Free
Skate Rental: $13
Web site
Thanks to Citi, this is the only free skating rink in Manhattan, assuming you bring your own skates and lock, of course! This fact, combined with its easily accessible Midtown location makes it a popular winter destination. Bryant Park draws a hefty crowd around the holidays, which can be bypassed with the purchase of an Express Pass (for a rather hefty $20).
The rink itself isn’t the best–it turns watery when the temperature is warm and it is covered with rivets and holes because the Zamboni can’t keep up with the dense crowds. There are several venues to grab a hot chocolate or snack while exploring the crafting and culinary pop-up shops throughout Bryant Park.
Wollman Rink at Central Park
Central Park South
. Enter at 59th St. and 6th Ave.
Hours: Daily, 10 a.m. – Closing Times Vary By Day
Open: November 2010 – March 2011
Admission: $14.75 (Weekend) or $10.25 (Weekday)
Skate Rental: $6.25
Web site
Nestled in the midst of Manhattan’s iconic Central Park, Wollman Rink offers a more natural setting with amazing views of the park’s trees and the city skyline peeking through. This type of ambiance comes at a bit of a price, though, as admission is $14.75 on weekends, plus $6.25 for skate rentals and $4 for lock rentals. Should you want to bypass the skating altogether, you will have to pay a $5 spectator fee just to watch your friends and loved ones fall around the ice.
If the price isn’t a deterrent and you’re comfortable jumping over a kid or two on the ice, then grab some warm cider or hot chocolate from the concession and game up for a little league hockey-esque skating experience. The rink is much less crowded during the week and stays open until 10 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Sky Rink at Chelsea Piers
Pier 61, 23rd St. and the Hudson River
Hours: Daily, hours vary
Admission: $13
Skate Rental: $7.50
Web site
If inclement weather prohibits you from fulfilling your winter ice skating dreams then you can seek shelter at the indoor Sky Rink of Chelsea Piers. This rink lacks a winter breeze, but it is home to many of the city’s hockey players and figure skaters. What this place lacks in outdoor charm and Christmas carols can be somewhat regained with the stunning views of the Hudson River and George Washington Bridge.
The hours here are a bit erratic because general skating time is embedded in hockey and lesson schedules, but a quick call or look at their holiday schedule can prevent any scheduling conflicts. Sky Rink isn’t necessarily a cheaper option, but is definitely a better place for those looking to seriously sharpen their skating skills or reign in a group of rowdy kids.
